Udi Etawah:- Former Union Minister Etawah MP Prof Ramshankar Katheria visited Badhpura and Chakarnagar flood affected areas of Etawah district. During this, relief material was distributed to the families affected by the floods. It is to be known that after the release of water from Kota Barrage and Gandhi Sagar Dam, after Chambal river took its worst form, the flood created havoc all around. And more than two dozen villages of Etawah district were flooded and the houses of the people were submerged in water. If someone’s household items were washed away, someone’s animal animals, many villages were also transformed into islands. In such a situation, the people of the affected families were seen facing this trouble in the open sky by reaching high places. In such a calamity, on Saturday, MP Prof. Ramshankar Katheria distributed relief material to 130 flood-affected families in village Madaiya Pachhaygaon of Badhpura development block area. At the same time, relief material was distributed to 150 flood-affected families in village Baswara and 50 in village Madaiya Badhpura. In which every flood victim family gets flour 10 kg, pulses 2 kg, rice 10 kg, refund one packet, potato 10 kg, brought 5 kg, roasted gram 2 kg, jaggery one kg, biscuit ten packets, candle one packet,,, soap Relief materials of matches, turmeric, coriander, chili powder, etc. were distributed. After distributing the relief material, the MP instructed the officials to identify the places to settle such villages which are affected by floods every year and asked them to send a proposal to the government in three months. And listening to the problems of the people present there, he directed the officers present. During this, District President Sanjeev Rajput, former District President Ajay Dhakre, BJP leader Vimal Bhadauria, Divisional President Akhlesh Mishra, Rahul Rajput, Officer Gan Sadar SDM Rajesh Kumar Verma, SP City Kapil Dev, Circle Officer Jaswantnagar etc. were present.
