Madhya Pradesh Liquor News: While Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan has topped the Central Government’s drug-free India campaign, former MP CM Uma Bharti is continuously protesting against the prohibition of alcohol. Shivraj Singh Chouhan has talked about amending the liquor policy after coming first in the drug-free campaign in the country. The CM has said that liquor shops will be shifted from wherever women face problems.
CM Shivraj also made a big statement regarding illegal liquor that it should be ensured that illegal liquor is not sold anywhere in the state. He said that an action plan should be prepared to shift the liquor shops from where women have problems in running liquor shops. Along with the implementation of Track and Trace system along with e-excise system, the excise sector is continuously improving in the state.
Boost to revenue collection i.e. focus on small taxpayers
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that small taxpayers should be taken into confidence to boost revenue collection. He said that these small tax payers should also be educated to implement the action plan for revenue collection. Along with this, he also emphasized the use of information technology.

There will be countless facilities for new taxpayers
Let us inform that in the meeting of CM Chouhan with the officers, it has been told that welcome kit has been developed for the convenience of new taxpayers of GST so that a simple and clean system can be made for tax collection. For the convenience of small taxpayers, WhatsApp based chat box is also available through which the doubts of the taxpayers are resolved. Along with this help desks have also been set up in each office for the convenience of the taxpayers. Information about new notifications is being made available to taxpayers through YouTube channel and all notices are being issued online through the portal.
