LS Election 2024: BJP has set a target of winning all 80 seats in Uttar Pradesh for the Lok Sabha elections 2024.
BJP has set a target of winning all 80 seats in Uttar Pradesh for the Lok Sabha elections 2024. The BJP has started working at the grassroots level to achieve this goal. The Bharatiya Janata Party is trying to fix its political equation for 2024 from western UP, where it proved weak in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
BJP does not want to leave any scope this time and has focused its entire focus on western UP. BJP is making Shakti Kendra for Mission-2024, through which there is a strategy to reach more and more voters along with strengthening the organization at the grassroots level. BJP has 330 mandals and 4750 sectors in western UP. It is trying to make these 4750 sectors as power centers so that more and more people can be reached. BJP has made a strategy to give edge to the organization at the grassroots level through Shakti Kendra.
BJP will run booth empowerment campaign
At the same time, there are about 30,000 booths in western UP. In view of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, BJP has given the responsibility of visiting 100-100 booths to get feedback from the beneficiaries of central and state government schemes, under the booth empowerment campaign. For this, those booths are being first focused, where BJP got less votes in the 2019 Lok Sabha and 2022 assembly elections. The BJP is very serious about West UP, which covers the area from Saharanpur to Moradabad and Rampur. In the 2019 and 2022 elections, the BJP has suffered the most in this belt. In such a situation, BJP has been making its power center a means of organizing PM Modi’s Mann Ki Baat, taking feedback of government schemes and creating an atmosphere for the party by communicating with the common people.

BJP’s special focus on farmers, youth and women
BJP is paying special attention to farmers, youth and women through Shakti Kendras. For this, three days training of Kisan Morcha has been organized in Hastinapur in Meerut district and three days training of Yuva Morcha in Agra. In this training, the leaders of both the fronts were united in the state, in which they were trained by senior leaders for three days. BJP sources say that the responsibility of monitoring the sectors created in the organization by making them power centers has been entrusted to senior workers and office bearers. Till now, the Mandal level was kept active to reach the last workers of the party, but in view of the target of 2024, instead of Mandal level, sector level is being made power center for political activities.

In such a situation, BJP has completely focused its attention on these Lok Sabha seats in Western UP. After winning the Rampur and Azamgarh Lok Sabha seats in the by-elections, the party has started the exercise of increasing its activism at the grassroots level in western UP. Uttar Pradesh is taking many important decisions for the strong preparations for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. It is the result of the planning of UP BJP that after the government, the party organization has also increased the stature of the western. Dharampal Singh, who came from Bijnor, was appointed to an important post like State General Secretary Organization. If seen, till now Bijnor district was untouched by BJP important posts. The 2024 goal has been carried forward by giving the West the responsibility of coordination between the government and the organization.
