The Congress party is holding a Halla Bol rally today against the rising inflation in the country. All senior Congress leaders and workers including Rahul Gandhi are present at Ramlila Maidan. In the rally, Rahul said- Hate is a form of fear. The one who is afraid, hatred arises in his heart. He who is not afraid, hatred does not arise in his heart. Hate is increasing in India, to say the same thing in another way, fear is increasing in India. Fear of future, fear of inflation, fear of unemployment… it is increasing. Because of this hatred is increasing in India.
Rahul said that people are divided by hatred, the country is divided and weakened. BJP and Sangh leaders divide the country and deliberately create fear in the country. scare people and create hatred. The question arises as to who do it for and why. Who is getting the benefit of this hatred? Is this benefiting the poor people of India? What benefit did Modiji’s government give to laborers and small shopkeepers? Two industrialists of India are taking full advantage of the whole, the benefit of fear and hate.
Ever since the BJP government came to power, hatred and anger are increasing in the country. Fear of future, inflation and unemployment is increasing in the country, due to which hatred is increasing in the country. Highlights of Rahul’s speech
- Modiji did demonetisation. Did it benefit the poor? He took money out of the pockets of the poor. Told the poor that there is a fight against black money. After a few months you saw that lakhs of crores of rupees were taken out of your pocket.
- The loans of the biggest industrialists of the country were waived. Farmer’s loan will not be waived. Will bring black laws against farmers. Will say that these laws are for their benefit. If it is for the benefit of the farmer then why is the farmer against it in India. Farmers showed their power to Narendra Modiji. When Modiji saw the power of farmers, he canceled the law.
- Same thing happened with GST. Congress wanted to bring second GST. BJP changed GST. Five different taxes and severe injury to small shopkeepers.
Easy to come and go in Congress, difficult to survive
Speaking at the rally, Congress leader and leader of the Congress Parliamentary Party in Lok Sabha, Adhir Ranjan said, “Today, inflation is such a condition that if you go shopping in the market, all your pocket money is exhausted, but the bag remains empty.” He also took a jibe at Ghulam Nabi Azad, who recently left the party, saying that it is very easy to come to Congress, it is easier to leave. But it is very difficult to survive in it. People walk two steps together, then change paths.
Rahul said- Modi is busy with his friends
Earlier, the Congress workers going to the Congress headquarters for the demonstration were taken by the police from Akbar Road to Ramlila Maidan. While sitting in the police car, all the workers kept shouting slogans of Vande Mataram and Halla Bol. Before the protest, Rahul has attacked PM Modi by tweeting. He wrote- ‘The king is busy earning friends, the people are suffering from inflation.’
Movement against back breaking inflation
Before the rally, Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal said that the Congress is continuously agitating against inflation and in its sequel this huge rally is being organized, in which the national leaders of the party as well as the people of Delhi and adjoining states. Will attend in large numbers.
Venugopal said- The government has ruined the country’s economy. His policies have pushed people into the fire of inflation. Modi government is insensitive about inflation. It is surprising that the issue is discussed in Parliament, the opposition creates ruckus, agitations are taking place across the country, but the government is sitting silent. The government should care about the common people.
This rally is our message to the government- Jairam Ramesh
Congress leader Jairam Ramesh said today’s Halla Bol rally has nothing to do with the state elections or the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. This is just our message to this insensitive government that people are troubled by inflation and unemployment.
