Land For Job Scam: Bihar Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav has agreed to appear in the land-for-job scam. Tejashwi’s lawyer Maninder Singh has agreed to appear in the High Court in the hearing of this case, that he will appear before the CBI on 25th. After this, in the court of Justice Dinesh Kumar Sharma, the counsel for CBI also recorded a statement on behalf of the investigating agency that CBI will not arrest Tejashwi this month.

In the land-for-job scam, Bihar Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav’s lawyer Maninder Singh had filed a petition in the Delhi High Court. By which he appealed to the court after receiving the summons of CBI, that he should not be questioned in the Delhi CBI office. Since the budget session of Bihar Vidhansabha is going on now, they should be given time till April 5, 2023 for questioning. Now it will not be possible for them to come.

The agency said – will not arrest
After this petition, the Central Investigation Agency also filed its own submission in the court that the Bihar Legislative Assembly does not function on Saturdays, henceforth they can come for questioning on any Saturday of the month. Along with this, his lawyer assured that since his wife is pregnant in his house, the agency will not arrest him in the month of March.
Lalu, Rabri and Misa got bail
Earlier on Wednesday, March 15, Delhi’s Special Rouse Avenue Court has given former RJD Railway Minister Lalu, his wife Rabri and daughter Misa Bharti in the land-for-job scam. Along with this, these three have been ordered to appear again in the next hearing on March 29.
