Jharkhand: Speculation of Chief Minister revenge has started once again in Jharkhand. If this happens, it will be the 11th time in the 22-year history of Jharkhand that a Chief Minister could not complete his term.
Once again there is a political crisis in Jharkhand, CM’s chair is in danger. In 22 years of the formation of the state, 11 CMs have changed. Among them, Shibu Soren, father of the current CM Hemant Soren, was the CM for the shortest 10 days while Raghuvar Das of BJP was the CM for the maximum 5 years. Raghubar Das is the only Chief Minister of Jharkhand who has completed his term.
The Soren family occupied the chief minister’s chair for five times. JMM President Shibu Soren became the CM of the state for three times but his entire tenure of three terms was less than one term of his son Hemant Soren. However, Hemant Soren was the Chief Minister for the first time for 1 year, 5 months, 10 days. There are 16 months left for his second term, and his chair is in danger again.
Soren did not prove majority
In 2005, Shibu Soren of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha became the CM of the state for the first time. But he could not prove the majority, after which Arjun Munda from BJP became the Chief Minister of the state for the second time. Arjun Munda remained the Chief Minister of the state for the next one and a half years. Madhu Koda became the CM of Jharkhand for the first time on 18 September 2006. Although his tenure had not even completed two years, then he had to resign. After which Shibu Soren became the CM of the state for the second time on 28 August 2008. But then this government fell in less than six months.

Shibu Soren took over the reins of the state on 30 December. But this time again he could not complete even six months of his tenure. On May 31, Shibu Soren resigned from his post and on June 1, 2010, President’s rule was imposed in Jharkhand for the second time.
The only person to be chief minister for five years

Now on July 13, 2013, when the President’s rule ended, Hemant Soren became the Chief Minister for the first time. His term continued till December 23, after which assembly elections were held here. This time in the assembly elections, the BJP alliance got an absolute majority here and for the first time in the state, the same government lasted for five years.
