This is the reason that now various ROs have solved this problem. They have started taking tests of the employees after training in which questions related to training are asked. If the employees fail in this test, they are being asked to take the training again. In many districts, 20 to 35 percent of the employees are joining the employees who are re-trained. In this training, things like training related to VVPAT, rules related to election process, various questions to be asked by voters, what are the restrictions in polling booth, etc. are given.
For this training, employees have been taken from all the departments. On the other hand, the employees say that this training is made so boring that it is natural to fall asleep. Most of the training is one-way communication, in which studies go on like a school child. If this training is made something interesting then this problem will be less.
When officials were discussed in this context, they said that the challenge is to complete this training in the least possible time. For the first time the employees of the departments are trained. Therefore, the work of those departments also gets affected. If this training is prolonged, there will be problems in people’s work. Secondly, by prolonging the training, the election expenditure will also increase manifold. The number of employees is very high. They are also given honorarium for day-wise training. This is the reason why not much changes can be made with the format of training.
What is the honorarium for training and election duty?

NBT outlook
Be it a training or workshop or a classroom on any subject. If the subject is not told in an interesting way, then sleep comes. Sometimes it also happens due to lack of interest in the subject of the participant. The better way is that the dialogue should not be one-sided. Questions and answers keep happening, so the listener has to be alert. Monologues should be avoided because such knowledge is usually boring.
