The key to power is in their hands in a triangular contest
This election could see a triangular contest between the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress, which Delhi has not seen in three decades of electoral politics. However, candidates of many such parties have also entered the fray, who are not very active in Delhi. In such a situation, this time in the MCD elections, these candidates can spoil the game of big parties. Unlike other elections that would have seen multiple party battles, the Delhi MCD election has largely been a bipolar politics. But this time the mood of Delhi has changed as compared to earlier.
