Delhi MCD Budget 2023: The MCD budget was presented on Wednesday for the first time after the Municipal Corporation of Delhi integration. After discussion of pros and cons, the budget for the financial year 2023-24 was presented. After the discussion was over, voting was done on all the proposals. After which 11 proposals given by BJP were rejected. At the same time, all the resolutions given by the Aam Aadmi Party were passed.
All councilors were given a chance to discuss
It may be noted that all the councilors were given a chance to discuss the budget in the House of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi. After a full discussion, the budget was presented. At the same time, during the discussion, there was a lot of accusation and counter-allegation from the side and the opposition. During the discussion on the budget, Aam Aadmi Party councilor Praveen Kumar questioned the BJP’s 15 years of power.

AAP councilor targets BJP (Delhi MCD Budget 2023)
Aam Aadmi Party councilor Praveen Kumar said that we all will work together for Delhi, it is expected. Targeting the BJP, he said that for the last 15 years, the Municipal Corporation employees are being exploited. But now the employees will not be exploited. Praveen Kumar said that I want to end the mountain of garbage in Delhi.

Councilor Praveen Kumar put forward this proposal
Councilor Praveen Kumar said that Aam Aadmi Party is the only party which makes promises and fulfills them. During this, he presented a proposal and said that all the properties of traders that have been sealed till date should be de-sealed with immediate effect.
Discussion on proposal on employees
AAP councilor Prem discussed the proposal on the employees. He said that BJP has exploited the employees for 15 years. Regarding the proposal, he said that it is a proposal keeping in mind the interest of the employees. This will give relief to the employees. He said that Aam Aadmi Party will work in the interest of the employees.
Rekha Gupta raised the issue of traders
Councilor Rekha Gupta raised the issue of traders and brought a resolution related to it. He demanded that this resolution be passed. This will give relief to the traders. At the same time, Councilor Pankaj Luthra discussed the proposal regarding stray dogs and animals in Delhi. After discussion, voting took place on the proposals one by one. After this, the resolutions brought by the Aam Aadmi Party were passed. Along with this, all the resolutions brought by the Bharatiya Janata Party were cancelled.

AAP’s mayor in Delhi did it in a month
AAP MLA Durgesh Pathak held a press conference after discussing the budget session in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi House. He said that out of 10 guarantees given to the people of Delhi, 2 have been fulfilled today. He said- ‘First Regular salary to the employees and other Notices of Conversion Charges will not be sent, traders will stand in front of the Judicial Committee on Sealing. All this was possible because the public elected AAP in MCD as well.
‘Employees are at the centre’
AAP MLA Durgesh Pathak said that Arvind Kejriwal’s Delhi mayor did in a month what the BJP mayor could not do in 15 years. Along with this, he told that there is a budget of 16 thousand crores. Employees have been kept at the center in the budget. During this he talked about development.
