Rahul Gandhi: The opposition created ruckus in the Parliament to investigate the matter of Adani Group but it did not yield any result. Because of which the Congress protested across the country on Monday. During this demonstration, former Congress President Rahul Gandhi targeted the central government. Slamming the Modi government, he said, “The country should also know what is the power behind Adani.” He further said that we want this issue (Adani-Hindenburg) to be discussed so that the whole matter can be cleared.

What did Rahul Gandhi say?
In the Adani-Hindenburg case, Rahul Gandhi said, “The government does not want and the government is scared that the Adani issue should be discussed in the Parliament. The government should allow discussion. Now Prime Minister Narendra Modi will try his best not to discuss this issue. I have been raising this issue for two-three years and want that there should be a discussion on the corruption of lakhs of crores of rupees and the encroachment on India’s infrastructure and what is the power behind Adani ji. The country should know.”
What is the whole matter?
Please tell that on 24 January 2023, a report of Hindenburg Research came. Adani Group has been accused of many things in this report. In this report, it was claimed that Adani Group’s shares have been heavily rigged. The report stated that the Adani group has weak business fundamentals. Apart from this, Adani Group was also accused of stock manipulation and accounting fraud. After the arrival of this report, there was an earthquake in the life of Gautam Adani and his business came to the floor.
Demand for investigation by the opposition
Their troubles did not end here, the opposition in Parliament created a lot of ruckus for the Adani-Hindenburg research. The opposition has demanded that there should be an inquiry under JPC on this issue but till now there has been no hearing in this matter. The opposition is attacking the Modi government regarding this investigation. Let us inform that at present the budget session of the Parliament is going on which will continue till February 10, but due to the ruckus of the opposition, the President’s address and 2023-24 could not be discussed.
