First of all, he himself will inaugurate the Aam Aadmi Clinic in Putlighar area of Amritsar. After that both together will inaugurate 400 mohalla clinics. Let us tell you that the Aam Aadmi Party had announced them in the assembly elections. The party had promised to gift Mohalla clinics to the state within a year of forming the government in Punjab. Along with this, the party had inaugurated 100 mohalla clinics on August 15, 2022 as the first installment of fulfilling its promise.
Till now 10 lakhs have taken health benefits
Punjab Health Minister Dr. Balbir said that 10 lakh patients have taken health benefits from the 100 Aam Aadmi Mohalla clinics opened so far. Around more than 3 lakh people have taken advantage of the free test. Medicines are also being given free of cost to all the patients. With this, he informed that out of these 400 Aam Aadmi clinics, 30 Mohalla clinics are going to be opened in Amritsar city alone. On which the state government is going to spend about 25 lakh rupees.
