He told the forum that Uniform Civil Code would be implemented soon in the state. With this, Uttarakhand will be the first state in the country to implement Uniform Civil Code. 90 percent drafting of this code has been completed.
Know what will be the nature of UCC
Uniform Civil Code (UCC) The aim of the government under this law is that there should be uniform law for every citizen living in India. He may not be of any caste, religion, creed. It is being indicated continuously that 90 percent of the drafting work of the Uniform Civil Code Act to be implemented in Uttarakhand has been completed. As soon as its work is completed, the committee will submit its report to the government on 30 June 2023. After this the process of implementing it will be done. Experts believe that in this Uniform Civil Code, the same law will be applicable for all religions in matters of marriage, divorce and distribution of land property. Uniform Civil Code would mean a completely fair law. Which will not be related to any religion.

CM Dhami’s warning on land jihad
Addressing the gathering on the subject of Land Jihad, CM Dhami warned that not a single illegal shrine or religious structure would be allowed to remain in Devbhoomi Uttarakhand. Such activities will not be allowed to flourish in Uttarakhand at any cost. They will be completely abolished. Along with this, a very strict law has been made to prevent forced conversions in the state.
