Many arrangements like pension to the elderly are due to Chaudhary Devi Lal. Chaudhary Devi Lal was rich in far-reaching thinking. For this reason, he understood the problem of the elderly and arranged for pension so that the elders do not have to run anywhere for small tasks.
He said that he had recently met Prime Minister Narendra on September 19 and requested him to name the Chandigarh airport after Shaheed Bhagat Singh. Necessary discussions were held with Punjab and Haryana regarding this. Incidentally, on the occasion of the birthday of Chaudhary Devi Lal, the Prime Minister has announced to name the Chandigarh airport after Shaheed Bhagat Singh during his Mann Ki Baat program. It is a matter of pride for every youth of the country.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that our government has done excellent work during three years and is moving ahead with the thinking of welfare of every section. Many arrangements have been made for the farmers of the state. Now farmers do not have to look to the government for compensation for crop failure and neither do they have to go to the offices. Now just open the My Crop My Details portal and select the compensation option and enter the photo of your crop damaged. Compensation will automatically be credited to the bank account after completing all the formalities. He said that earlier after selling the crop in the mandi, he had to apply for money again and again. Now within three days, the price of the crop automatically gets in the bank account.
He said that more than 28 thousand crores have been invested in the state during a year and our youth will get the benefit of it. The issue of reservation in jobs will be resolved soon and we will definitely be able to implement this system. After this the youth will get lakhs of jobs. This arrangement will definitely prove to be a milestone for the state.
