Now there will be a total security cover of 55 jawans including NSG commandos and CRPF in the security of CM Mann. Now this Z+ cover will be with him across India. He also has the security of Punjab Police before this. Apart from this, the latest security cover will also provide security to the CM’s household and close family members.
Big danger after Operation Amritpal Singh
The decision to upgrade Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann’s security cover to Z+ was taken after the arrest of ‘Waris Punjab De’ chief and Khalistan supporter Amritpal. The security cover was recommended by the security agencies on the basis of intelligence inputs received in view of Khalistani activities along the international border with Pakistan. Let us tell you that after being absconding for 36 days, Amritpal Singh was arrested from Rode village of Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale. From where he was immediately sent to Dibrugarh Jail in Assam along with 9 of his companions.
