A complaint has been registered against nine, including BJP leaders, for getting a chartered plane take off at night by pressurizing the Air Traffic Controller (ATC) of Deoghar Airport in Jharkhand. These include the names of BJP MP from Godda Nishikant Dubey, his two sons, MP Manoj Tiwari and BJP leader Kapil Mishra.
The complaint has been lodged by DSP Suman Aman posted at Deoghar airport at Kunda police station in the district. According to DSP Suman Aman, on August 31, the Godda MP, his two sons, Manoj Tiwari and others forcibly entered the ATC of Deoghar airport and forced the employees to forcibly take clearance. He also said in his complaint that there is no night take-off and landing facility at Deoghar airport yet.
Pilot and airport director Sandeep Dhingra was also present in the ATS.
The DSP has written in his complaint that when he reached the ATC control room, the airport director Sandeep Dhingra and the pilot of the chartered plane were already present there. At that time the pilot of the chartered plane put pressure on the ATC staff. Soon after, the MP and his two sons also reached there. The DSP wrote that due to pressure, he also got the clearance. The pilot and others left Deoghar airport in a short while.
DSP Aman has written in the complaint that in view of these things it is clear that the security standards of airport operation were violated. These people forcibly entered the ATC. The DSP has also cited CCTV, in which Mukesh Pathak, Devta Pandey and Pintu Tiwari have also been accused of breaching security norms in the ATC building at the time of the incident on August 31.
