Gandhinagar. Gujarat Assembly Election 2022: The second phase of voting in the Gujarat Assembly elections is on the coming Monday, 5 December. After this, all the senior BJP leaders will hold a meeting to discuss and review the preparations of the party to deal with the upcoming election challenges. This two-day meeting will be held at the headquarters in Delhi. In this, the 2024 Lok Sabha elections will also be targeted.
If sources related to the party are to be believed then this meeting will be chaired by National President Jagat Prakash Nadda. There will also be a review of the functioning of the party and other organizations associated with it. Along with this, brainstorming will be done on what should be the necessary agenda to reach out to the people. In this, there is a preparation to include India’s economic growth and G-20 issues in the midst of global recession.
National office bearers, senior leaders and presidents of states will attend
In addition, assembly elections will be held in some northeastern states, including Karnataka and Tripura, next year. Then the Lok Sabha elections are to be held in 2024, in such a situation there can be a discussion on preparing a strategy related to all the activities of the organization. Apart from office bearers and senior leaders at the national level, the presidents and general secretaries of all the states will attend the meeting. Prime Minister Narendra Modi can also address this meeting.
Himachal and Gujarat counting on December 8
Let us tell you that the voting for the second and final phase of Gujarat will end on December 5. The first phase of voting was on 1 December. More than 63 percent votes were cast in it. On the other hand, voting took place in 68 Vidhan Sabhas in Himachal Pradesh on 12th November. The results of both the states will be released on December 8. Voting for the second phase of the Gujarat Assembly elections is now on December 5.
This time voting will be held on 93 seats in 14 districts of North and Central Gujarat. However, for two times the Congress has been doing better than the BJP in the districts of North Gujarat. Congress got 32 seats in the last assembly elections from here.
