It is noteworthy that on Wednesday, Janata Dal (United) leader Nitish Kumar took oath as the Chief Minister of Bihar. Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejashwi Yadav also took oath, who is likely to take over as Deputy Chief Minister in the new government. Nitish Kumar on Tuesday resigned as the Chief Minister of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and staked claim to form a new government with the support of the seven-party Grand Alliance MLAs. He has taken oath as the Chief Minister for the eighth time.
