Azam Khan News: SP leader Azam Khan has been admitted to Medanta Hospital due to shortness of breath. Akhilesh Yadav will go to the hospital to meet him today.
Samajwadi Party MLA and former minister Mohammad Azam Khan has been admitted to Medanta Hospital in Lucknow after suffering from pneumonia and breathing problems. According to an official bulletin of Medanta Hospital, the veteran leader was admitted on Wednesday night. Party chief Akhilesh Yadav will go to the hospital to take care of Azam Khan.
Azam Khan is admitted in ICU
“All tests were done on Thursday and 74-year-old Azam Khan is in the ICU after a lung infection,” the bulletin said. A team is looking after him and he is under observation. His condition is stable and under control. Dr Dilip Dubey and his team are treating Azam Khan.

Azam’s son attacked SP spokesperson
The news of Akhilesh Yadav going to the hospital to meet Azam Khan is coming at a time when his son Abdullah Azam has attacked the SP spokesperson. Abdullah tweeted, ‘Just now a statement has come to my notice which has been given by a spokesperson of Samajwadi Party, it is the same people who are responsible for the defeat and ruin of Samajwadi Party today. I requested such people to talk up to their level, do not go to Azam Khan sahib, otherwise the matter will go away if it comes out.
