Assembly Election 2023: After the Karnataka elections, 4 more state assembly elections are left till the end of this year. In which elections are to be held in Rajasthan, MP.Chhattisgarh and Telangana. The biggest thing about these upcoming elections is that BJP is in power only in MP. While the remaining three states have opposition governments. The question arises whether Karnataka will come back to power in these states leaving behind the humiliating defeat in the elections? On the other hand Congress buoyed by the success will prove to be a red flag for BJP in Rajasthan, MP and Chhattisgarh. Aware of this defeat in the South, BJP has decided to change the strategy in the next assembly elections.
Know what was the reason for Karnataka defeat
The BJP, which is trying to find the reasons for the defeat in Karnataka, has become more cautious about the coming elections. Karnataka’s humiliating defeat has taught the party a lesson, mainly due to BJP not giving tickets to senior party leaders like Jagadish Shettar and Laxman Sadhvi and removal of former CM BS Yeddyurappa from the post of CM. Which was a major reason for resentment in Lingayat society and which shifted towards Congress. Along with this, the party is also brainstorming on the shortcomings in ticket distribution. Party strategists believe that in addition to not forging an alliance with Kumaraswamy, Karnataka’s local unit was also more dependent on the central leadership by not taking it forward in the election campaign. In this strategy, the Congress defeated the BJP.

BJP changed strategy
According to the information received from party sources, now BJP has made up its mind to change the strategy after taking lessons from the defeat in Karnataka. BJP will now insist on keeping in mind the caste equations as well as the leadership while distributing tickets in all the four states. Along with this, it will also forge alliances with local small parties. Instead of the top leadership, the party will insist on keeping the local leaders ahead in public relations. This strategy of Congress caused maximum damage to BJP. On the other hand, the strategy of not giving tickets to Jagadish Shettar and Laxman Savadi has been considered not to be repeated in important states like Rajasthan and MP.
Will take care of caste equation
In Rajasthan, if preference is given to keep Vasundhara with her, then with the help of leaders like Kirori Lal Meena, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Satish Punia, she will hold on to her caste groups. Similarly, in MP it has been made clear that Shivraj will be the face of the party but it has been made clear that leaders like Scindia, Tomar and BD Sharma will have to be taken along. In Chhattisgarh, along with former CM Raman Singh, Brijmohan Agarwal and Arun Saw will be brought along, while in Telangana, the party will put Bandi Sanjay, E Rajendran G Kishan Reddy ahead prominently.
