Weather News: Monsoon is now on the verge of departure but some states are still witnessing monsoon. The morning rain in Delhi NCR has made the weather quite pleasant. Due to three consecutive days of rain, a drop in temperature has been recorded in many areas. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of torrential rain today. Light to moderate rain is expected in Delhi till September 26. After this the rain is expected to stop, although the sky may remain cloudy.
Moderate rain will occur in most areas in the capital on Saturday. There is also a possibility of heavy rain at some places. In the capital Delhi, the maximum temperature is likely to be around 27 and the minimum temperature is 22 degrees.
Holiday declared in schools
The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rain in western Uttar Pradesh till September 26. A cyclonic pressure is working in and around Madhya Pradesh, due to which it may rain for a few days. The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in the districts of Uttar Pradesh like Aligarh, Hathras, Agra, Mathura, Firozabad, while a yellow alert has been issued for most of the districts of the state. Due to this alert, a holiday has been declared in the schools.

rain alert in uttarakhand
In Uttarakhand too, the sequence of intermittent rains is continuing for the last few days. The Meteorological Center has issued an orange alert for heavy to very heavy rainfall in six districts of Uttarakhand for the next three days. Due to heavy rains in most areas, normal life is also affected. Traffic is getting disrupted especially on the Chardham Yatra routes.
