Workers trapped in tunnel under construction
Workers are trapped in the Silkyara Tunnel in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand, rescue operations are being carried out continuously to rescue them. The rescue team has started horizontal drilling from the entrance of the tunnel. Rescue operation is being carried out for the last 10 days. A big update has come out on Tuesday morning. Visuals and videos of workers trapped inside the tunnel have surfaced. Yesterday, the rescue team crossed the debris and reached the workers with a six-inch wide pipe. This resulted in success in creating an additional supply line. After more than 9 days, the workers could get hot food i.e. Khichdi. They were also sent packets of dry fruits and some fresh oranges.
