He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had set a target a few years ago that the income of farmers would double in the next five years. From the Center to the State Governments worked hard for this and to some extent they have also completed it. But according to him, the income of farmers can be doubled only if they pay full attention to animal husbandry.
No technology to double the yield
Chaudhary Lakshmi Narayan said one more thing that he himself is a farmer. It is well understood that there is no such technology to double the yield in the field. That’s why the income of the farmer cannot be doubled only on the basis of farming. That’s why it is necessary to pay attention to animal husbandry.

Sheep-goat milk protects against many diseases
Citing the example of sheep and goat rearing, Chaudhary Lakshmi Narayan said that even today effective treatment for deadly diseases like dengue has not been prepared. But during illness, people are ready to pay Rs 1,500 to Rs 2,000 per liter to get goat’s milk.
Similarly, sheep’s milk beats many medical treatments in joining broken bones. In such a situation, farmers can earn well even by rearing sheep and goats.
