UP: First offered Namaz in the mosque then swung from the noose, incident captured in CCTV

A sensation spread over the dead body of a young man hanging from a noose in a mosque in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh. The young man committed suicide by hanging himself in the mosque. He had offered namaz before committing suicide. Who is the deceased youth has not been identified yet. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot, took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem. The entire incident of the youth hanging himself has been captured in the CCTV installed in the mosque.

The incident took place at Shah Vilayat Masjid located in Mohalla Qurayshian of Gangoh police station of Saharanpur. A young man enters the mosque at around 7 o’clock on Monday morning. It is seen in the CCTV footage that after coming to the mosque, the young man first offers namaz. After offering Namaz, the young man prepares the noose for hanging by untying the rope through the wooden ladder kept in the mosque. He climbs on a stool and commits suicide by hanging himself from the noose.

Police is identifying the deceased youth

When some more people reach inside the mosque, they are shocked to see the dead body of the young man hanging there. People informed the police about the incident. The police reached the spot, took the body of the youth in their custody and sent it for post-mortem. Gangoh police station inspector Avinash Gautam said that the youth who committed suicide has not been identified yet. The youth is being identified. The body has been sent to the district hospital for post-mortem.

There was panic in the area after the incident. After the incident, a crowd of people gathered at the mosque. Everyone was surprised about this incident that happened inside the mosque. People were seen trying to identify the deceased youth. Police is identifying the deceased youth and CCTV footage is also being examined.
