According to the new rates, for spending more than 300 units of electricity, a maximum of Rs 6.50 per unit will have to be paid. The government has withdrawn the slab of Rs. At the same time, the maximum rate of domestic electricity will be Rs 6.50 per unit.
Let us inform that after the new rates of electricity are implemented in Uttar Pradesh from Thursday, the new rate for scheduled meter consumers in rural areas has been cut by fifty paise per unit. Here consumers had to pay Rs 6 per unit earlier for spending more than 500 units per month. At the same time, after this deduction, now a charge of Rs 5.50 will have to be paid per unit.

Relief even in urban areas
Apart from this, the new rates have also been cut by fifty paise per unit in urban areas. Urban schedule meter consumers were earlier charged Rs 7 per unit for spending more than 500 units per month. At the same time, after this deduction, now Rs 6.50 per unit charge will have to be paid. Apart from this, urban consumers have also got relief. They will now have to pay a fixed charge of Rs 330 per kWh every month up to four kilowatt load. Earlier, they had to pay Rs 390 per month for more than two and up to four kilowatts.

In the first month, everyone had to pay Rs 8.75 per unit for consumption of more than 1000 units of kWh. Which has now been increased to Rs. 8.40 per unit for consumption above 300 units for four kilowatt load.
