Ujjain Mahakal Corridor :The work of the first phase of Ujjain Mahakal corridor is almost complete. Mahakal Corridor is all set for inauguration. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate it on October 11 next month. CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan himself has given information about this. Preparations have also been completed for the launch. Celebration will start a week before
Let us inform that preparations are in full swing for the inauguration of the corridor. For this BJP will give door to door invitation. Bhajan troupes will take out Prabhat Pheri. The festivities will start a week in advance. Hoardings will be put up at various places in the city. Religious rituals and events will be organized in the cities. Rudrabhishek will take place a day before the program. Many artists of the country will perform in the program. A lamp will be decorated in the city. Orders have also been given to spread wide publicity about the program on social media. All these things have been decided in the meeting held in Bhopal today.

Specialties of Ujjain Mahakal Corridor
This project has been prepared at a cost of Rs 793 crore. Mahakal Corridor is the first such religious campus in the country which is being developed on the banks of the mythical lake Rudrasagar. It has been decorated through about 200 sculptures and murals related to Shiva Shakti and other religious tales. Devotees will be able to listen to the story of each mural by scanning it on it. Sapta Rishi, Navagraha Mandal, Tripurasura Slaughter, Shiva enshrined in the lotus pool, the marking of Shiva’s Ananda Tandava in 108 pillars, Shiva Stambh, huge statues of Nandi enshrined at the grand entrance. The country’s first night garden has also been built in the Mahakal corridor. Let us inform that the Mahakal campus located in Ujjain is being expanded in 20 hectares.
Kamal Nath government had given green signal to the project
In the year 2019, the then Kamal Nath government had given green signal to the Mahakal temple expansion project. 300 crores were approved for this, which was increased to 750 crores in the Shivraj government.
