Mukti Saha’s wife Ritu Saha passed away. Car driver Prashant Rai also died on the spot. The damaged ambulance is currently kept at the New Jalpaguri police station. Bishu Saha, a family member of the deceased, told about the incident, “The incident happened near Phulbari while taking my grandfather to the hospital at night. The accident happened after a collision with a truck. Three people died on the spot. The rest are being treated in the hospital.”
