Amethi: The strike of electricity workers in Uttar Pradesh ended on Sunday. electricians This strike lasted for more than 72 hours. During this strike, power cuts were seen at many places in the state. In Uttar Pradesh’s Amethi district, the electrical workers remained adamant about their demands. Due to this people had to face power cut.
Due to power cut in the district for a long time, there was an atmosphere of resentment among the local people. Local people gathered in hundreds at Amethi Power House on Sunday and demanded restoration of electricity system. During this, there was an argument with the people present there. The police reached the spot and explained to the people. Even after the assurance of the police, the power cut continued in the district.

Due to this, the electricity system in the rural and urban areas of the district collapsed. Due to power cut, people had to face many problems. Without light, many types of work of the people also came to a standstill.
Smriti Pandey, a woman of the district told that we are facing water problem due to non-availability of electricity. Mobiles are switched off. Fans are not running. Mosquitoes seem more at night while sleeping. Due to non-availability of light, there was a lot of problem for the last two days. Along with this, mobile trader Anil Tiwari said that due to non-availability of lights, all the work in the city came to a standstill. Running a shop has become difficult.

It is worth noting that about 1000 electrical workers from the entire district were sitting on protest for the last 3 days at the Superintendent Engineer’s office in Gauriganj, Amethi. Due to the sit-in demonstration by the electrical workers, the power supply remained completely closed in more than half of the areas in the entire district. However, the strike of the electricity workers ended on Sunday afternoon.
