Uttar Pradesh Of Hapur Energy Corporation officials have issued a recovery notice of Rs 1.20 lakh to an elderly resident of Doyami village who runs a tea stall in the district, due to which the condition of the elderly has worsened. The victim has complained to the Executive Engineer and demanded the withdrawal of this notice. Along with this, he has claimed that he got the connection only after the installation of pillars in the Deen Dayal Yojana in the year 2017, for which he is also depositing the bill. Doyami resident Ravidutt Sharma told that in the year 2008 he had applied for electricity connection. At that time, the connection was denied by telling that the distance of the house from the pillar was more.
In the year 2017, he could get electricity after installation of poles in the Deen Dayal Yojana, it is alleged that he has received a notice of dues of Rs 1.20 lakh from the Energy Corporation. The victim told that he is somehow taking care of his family by running a tea stall. In such a situation, how will he bring 1.20 lakh rupees, when he did not use electricity at all. In this case the recovery of the bill has been sent on some basis. The victim told that since the year 2017, he has used electricity. Whose bill is also being paid from time to time. In this case, the victim has complained to the Executive Engineer and demanded to withdraw the notice of recovery of Rs 1.20 lakh.
Two connections made by the same consumer
There are more than ten thousand such consumers in all the three divisions of the district, who remain in Never Paid. These users have not deposited any money. It is also discussed in the corporation that the officials of the Electricity Corporation have given two connections to the same consumers, due to which they are not depositing the money for one connection, in such a situation the number of never paid people is increasing.
Executive Engineer Manoj Kumar said that the consumer resident of Doyami has lodged a complaint, necessary action will be taken after investigating it. If the arrears are wrong then the notice will be withdrawn. Where ever since the electricity department went to private, local meter readers come, they wrongly withdraw the bill, but those people do not know, while the elderly Ravidutt Sharma, a tea seller resident of Doyami, is in bad condition by crying. He is going around the officers to get the bill fixed but the officers are not listening.
