Farmer movement is once again gaining momentum. Even the Agriculture Minister's talks with the farmers did not yield any solution. Farmers are moving towards Delhi to get their demands met, due to which a traffic jam is being created in Delhi and surrounding areas. People are also facing a lot of problems due to the jam. Traffic diversion has been done at many places. Even after this, long lines of vehicles can be seen on the roads.
Farmers have come out on the streets in many districts of UP in support of the movement. There was a long jam on NH-730 in Ikauna police station area of Shravasti district on Tuesday, when Bharatiya Kisan Vikas Party's National President Kunwar Ashok Shukla had reached SDM Ikauna to submit a memorandum to the Governor regarding the problems of farmers.
Tehsil officials accused of misbehavior
Kunwar Ashok Shukla accused the tehsil officials and employees of misbehavior. And said that he was addressed as 'Yaar' by the officers. It is alleged that due to the SDM not being present, his memorandum was taken from the peon, due to which Kunwar Ashok Shukla got enraged and sat on strike on NH-730. Due to the protest, there was a long traffic jam on the highway for some time.
