Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday inaugurated the ‘Shaheed Bhagat Singh Armed Forces Preparatory School’ in Najafgarh, Delhi. On this occasion, he called upon the students to imbibe the spirit of living and dying for the country. Kejriwal said state-of-the-art facilities have been provided in the school and students will be trained as per the entrance examination system of various armed forces.
He said that there was no Sainik School in Delhi. We started preparations a year ago, but didn’t know that the school would be ready in a year. On behalf of Delhi and the country, I express my gratitude to those people who made this dream come true within a year.

CM Kejriwal said this thing
Kejriwal said, “I interacted with the students and found that 80 to 90 per cent of them are from government, while 10 to 15 per cent are from private schools. Psychometric tests, personality development workshops and mock tests will be conducted to prepare students for the armed forces. He said that the school has been named after Bhagat Singh so that the students can learn from his life.

Kejriwal said, “At the age of 23, he (Bhagat Singh) took part in the freedom struggle and laid down his life. Today’s youth are worried about getting girlfriend at that age. You should follow his ideals and learn from his life.
