Make in India while promoting Central government PM Mitra Mega Textile Park has been approved in 7 states of the country. It is being told that this will create new employment opportunities and open new avenues for the development of the country. According to the information, through the PM Mitra Mega Textile Park, the entire work of clothing i.e. from fabric preparation to its export, all the work will be done at one place.
The 7 states where it has been approved include Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Gujarat and UP. It is being claimed that this scheme will not only help India become a textile hub but will also be a big step towards self-reliant India. Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted about this and said, “PM MITRA Mega Textile Park will give a boost to the textile sector in line with the 5F (Farm to Fiber to Factory to Fashion to Foreign) vision. Happy to inform that PM Mitra Mega Textile Parks will be set up in Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Gujarat, MP and UP.

Describing it as the best example of Make in India and Make for the world, PM Modi said, “PM Mitra Mega Textile Park will provide state-of-the-art infrastructure for the textile sector, attract crores of investment and create lakhs of jobs.” According to media reports, this will create 14 lakh job opportunities.
Union Minister Piyush Goyal said, it is a matter of great pleasure for the Ministry of Textiles and seven states including UP that Mega Textile Parks will be set up there.
