RPF jawan sentenced to death in triple murder case, shot 5 including pregnant 4 years ago

Ramgarh: Jharkhand Of Ramgarh RPF jawan Pawan Kumar Singh, convicted in the famous triple murder case in Barkakana of the district, has been sentenced to death under Section 302 by the court of Ramgarh Additional District and Sessions Judge First Sheshnath Singh. Along with this, the court has imposed a fine of 10-10 thousand on the accused RPF Jawan Pawan Kumar Singh in both sections along with 10 years imprisonment in section 307 and seven years imprisonment in Arms Act. Along with this, accused RPF jawan Pawan Kumar Singh will have to undergo an additional sentence of one year for not paying the fine.

Let us inform that RPF jawan Pawan Kumar Singh, a resident of Bhojpur district of Bihar, working in Barkakana area of ​​Ramgarh district, on August 17, 2019, after a dispute with his landlord and railway worker Ashok Kumar Ram and his wife Lilavati Devi, along with a pregnant woman Varsha alias Meena. Devi, Suman Kumari and Sanjay Ram were shot with service revolver. Three people had died in this incident. While 2 people were badly injured. The dead included pregnant woman Varsha, railway worker Ashok Ram and his wife Lilavati Devi.

Death sentence in triple murder case

After executing the incident, the accused RPF jawan had fled from the spot. He was arrested by the police from Bhojpur district of Bihar on 21 March 2020, almost eight months after the triple murder. After the incident of triple murder on August 17, 2019, the entire matter was investigated by Rail DSP Sanjeev Kumar Besra by registering case number 17/19 at Barkakana Railway Station. After long research, charge sheet was filed in Ramgarh Court.

After hearing the testimony of 16 witnesses and the arguments of Public Prosecutor RB Rai, Ramgarh Additional District and Sessions Judge First Judge Shesh Nath Singh convicted the accused RPF jawan Pawan Kumar Singh in the triple murder case on March 13, 2023, while in this case On March 16, 2023, he was sentenced to death and other sections.

Family got justice after years
