of Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami On Monday, he laid the foundation stone of 110 meter long two-lane motor bridge to be built on Kali river between India and Nepal in Dharchula area of Pithoragarh district. This 110 meter long bridge will have a width of 10.50 meters and will have footpaths on both sides.
This will be the second motor bridge after Tanakpur on the Indo-Nepal border in Uttarakhand. All types of vehicles, small and big, will be able to run on this bridge, which will make the movement of local people easy. After laying the foundation stone of a bridge to be built at Malla Charchhum in Dharchula at a cost of Rs 32.98 crore, the Chief Minister said that this bridge is very important.
India-Nepal trade will increase
He said that due to its formation, the traffic between India and Nepal will be facilitated, trade will increase, employment will increase and mutual relations will be strengthened further. CM Dhami said that this bridge will be ready within a year. Instructing the Public Works Department to speed up the construction of this bridge with quality, the CM said that no compromise will be made with the quality of the bridge.
