Rocks coming from Nepal for the idol of Ramlala, the idol will be carved from 60 million years old stone

It is reported that Shaligram stones from the Gandaki river of Nepal are being brought for the construction of the idol of Ramlala which will be kept in the temple for devotees to see. The weight of the stones is 40 tonnes. Meanwhile, a meeting of the Ram Mandir Building Construction Committee also took place in Ayodhya. The progress of temple construction was reviewed in the meeting and the carving and installation of the new idol of Ramlala to be installed in the sanctum sanctorum was also discussed.

It is being told that these stones were first brought from Pokhara to Janakpur in Nepal. He is worshiped in the main temple of Janakpur. These rocks will enter India from the Madhubani border of Bihar. It will reach Gorakshpeeth of Gorakhpur after noon of 31st January. In India too, they will be worshiped at different places. The last meeting of the construction committee was held on January 5 and this was the second meeting in a month. The meeting was presided over by the chairman of the construction committee, Nripendra Mishra and the secretary of the trust, Champat Rai and trustee Anil Mishra also participated in it.

The idol will be placed in the sanctum sanctorum of the Ram temple

Prakash Gupta, the office in-charge of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Trust, told that the special rocks of Nepal’s Gandaki river, used to carve the idol of Ramlala at Ram Janmabhoomi, will reach Ayodhya on Thursday. The child form idol of Lord Rama engraved on this stone will be placed in the sanctum sanctorum of the Ram temple, which will be ready by Makar Sankranti in January next year.

The rocks are six million years old

Two large pieces of stone from special rocks, six million years old, found in the Gandaki river at a place near Shaligram or Muktinath (literally ‘place of salvation’) in Mustang district of Nepal, have been sent from Nepal, which will be displayed on Thursday. Will reach Ayodhya. Trust’s office in-charge Prakash Gupta said, ‘These Shaligram rocks are six crore years old. Huge rocks will reach Ayodhya from Nepal on two different trucks. The weight of one stone is 26 tonnes and the weight of the other is 14 tonnes.

Gupta said, ‘Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s national secretary Rajendra Singh Pankaj has left Nepal’s Mustang district with a consignment of two sacred stones on Wednesday and is expected to reach Ayodhya by Thursday. Praveen Togadia, president of the International Hindu Council, said that the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya has already been done, but now Ramrajya should also come in the country.
