It is reported that Shaligram stones from the Gandaki river of Nepal are being brought for the construction of the idol of Ramlala which will be kept in the temple for devotees to see. The weight of the stones is 40 tonnes. Meanwhile, a meeting of the Ram Mandir Building Construction Committee also took place in Ayodhya. The progress of temple construction was reviewed in the meeting and the carving and installation of the new idol of Ramlala to be installed in the sanctum sanctorum was also discussed.
It is being told that these stones were first brought from Pokhara to Janakpur in Nepal. He is worshiped in the main temple of Janakpur. These rocks will enter India from the Madhubani border of Bihar. It will reach Gorakshpeeth of Gorakhpur after noon of 31st January. In India too, they will be worshiped at different places. The last meeting of the construction committee was held on January 5 and this was the second meeting in a month. The meeting was presided over by the chairman of the construction committee, Nripendra Mishra and the secretary of the trust, Champat Rai and trustee Anil Mishra also participated in it.
