The Congress on Monday appointed former Union Minister Kumari Selja as the party’s general secretary and in-charge of Chhattisgarh. Apart from this, Congress has nominated former Deputy Chief Minister of Punjab Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa. Rajasthan Has been made party in-charge of On the other hand, Rajya Sabha member Shakti Singh Gohil has been appointed as the party in-charge of Haryana.
According to a release issued by Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal, party president Mallikarjun Kharge made these appointments. Selja, former president of Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee, has been made in-charge of Chhattisgarh in place of PL Punia. At the same time, Randhawa has been made Rajasthan in-charge in place of Ajay Maken.

It has also been said in the order that the Congress President has attached Gurdeep Singh Sappal with in-charge, Administration, Pawan Kumar Bansal. Former Union Minister Bansal is currently the treasurer of the party and is also handling the charge of administration.
