Reliance Industries Update: Ever since Akash Ambani was appointed as the chairman of Jio in June, it is being speculated that Mukesh Ambani may announce the roadmap for succession planning.
Addressing the 45 AGM meeting of Reliance Industries, the company’s chairman Mukesh Ambani has presented the blueprint of the succession plan of Reliance Group’s business. The roadmap of how the group’s business will be divided between Mukesh Ambani’s three children, two sons, Akash Ambani, Anant Ambani and daughter Isha Ambani, has been disclosed by Mukesh Ambani to the shareholders at the AGM.
Giving information about the succession plan of the business, Mukesh Ambani said that Akash Ambani has taken the lead role in Telecom and Isha Ambani in Retail business. On the other hand, Anant Ambani has joined the new energy business and is being groomed for the leadership role. Mukesh Ambani told that most of Anant Ambani’s time is passing in Jamnagar these days.

Mukesh Ambani made a big announcement
He told that all of them are part of the young team at Reliance who are doing amazing. He is consulted on a daily basis under the supervision of senior people of Reliance, including the Chairman and Board of Directors.

In fact, in the month of June, when Akash Ambani was appointed as the chairman of Reliance Jio Infocomm, there is constant speculation that Mukesh Ambani can announce the roadmap for his business succession plan. Then Mukesh Ambani resigned as the chairman of Reliance Jio. Mukesh Ambani said that he will continue to provide leadership to Reliance as well as prepare it for the future. The company is aiming to double its value by the golden decade of 2027. And even after that, the company will continue to progress at a fast pace on the path of growth.
