Rajasthan: Everyone is aware of the bitterness of the seeds of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and former Governor Jagdeep Dhankar in West Bengal. There was a time when Jagdeep Dhankhar had raised questions on every decision of Mamata Banerjee and strongly reprimanded the government for the violence. But when he contested for the post of Vice President, Mamata Banerjee thought it better to avoid the election process instead of going against him. Now Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has taken a funny sarcasm on Jagdeep Dhankhar regarding this matter.
What was the magic done on Mamta Banerjee?
In the felicitation ceremony of Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Ashok Gehlot asked him what magic AAP has done on Mamta Banerjee. He further said that I have a relationship for 50 years. I have a relationship with you since NSUI era. Till the time you were the Governor of West Bengal, there was a lot of discussion between the Chief Minister and you, but in 3 years there has not been a day when both of you have not discussed. Even after this, what magic did you do that Mamta Banerjee absented the party’s MPs to make you win the election.

Work done within the ambit of the constitution
Responding to this, the Vice President said that I am beyond politics. Ashok Gehlot and Vasundhara Raje can shed light on how and on what basis political decisions are taken. He further said that after becoming the candidate for the post of Vice President, I told Mamta Banerjee that now I am not the Governor of your state. Keep your hand on your heart and think, have I ever done any work against the purview of the law and the constitution. No matter what both of us have said, no matter what the circumstances have been, but have we said a single word while taking a dig at their dignity.
