Quarrel with Kejriwal, but prefers work! LG read ballads in praise of AAP government

Delhi News: Delhi Assembly from today budget session is beginning. Lieutenant Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena’s speech is going on in the assembly. However, the BJP MLA, who was creating ruckus during the Lt Governor’s address, was thrown out of the House. Most of the MLAs of Aam Aadmi Party including Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal are present in the House. LG VK Saxena praised the Arvind Kejriwal government during his speech in the assembly.

LG VK Saxena said that despite many obstacles, the Kejriwal government has done good things. The government has done good work in the field of education as well. Excellent results came in 10th and 12th. The government established the DBSE board. The work of the second phase of Delhi Technical University has been completed. LG VK Saxena said that the Delhi government gave pension to 4.08 lakh under the Social Security and Welfare, Old Age Assistance Scheme. Paid special essential pension to more than one lakh people. Financial assistance was also provided to 3.50 lakh distressed women.

LG VK Saxena said that many plans related to underpasses, flyovers have been completed in Delhi. One lakh 35 thousand CCTV cameras have been installed all over Delhi. 500 national flags were put up all over Delhi on 75th Independence Day. About 20 thousand rooms were made in the government school. Kejriwal government laid a new pipeline of 34KM. The WTP scheme of Chandrawal and Wazirabad is about to be completed.

522 mohalla clinics have been set up in Delhi.

Talking about the health sector, LG VK Saxena said that a wonderful work has been done in the health sector in Delhi. 38 multispeciality hospitals, 522 mohalla clinics have been set up in Delhi. 16 thousand new beds will be added in new hospitals. Kejriwal government will provide health card to everyone in Delhi.

Talking about the energy sector, LG VK Saxena said that up to 200 units of free electricity, 201 to 400 units are getting subsidy. Peak power demand was met in Delhi on 29th June. The electricity rate in Delhi is the lowest in the neighboring state. This is a good thing.

48 animal hospitals in Delhi, proper arrangements for treatment everywhere

Talking about agriculture and animal husbandry, the LG said that the agriculture units of the government are organizing farmer training programs at the village level. Expert advice is being provided to farmers for analysis of soil, seed and water samples. We have a network of 48 veterinary hospitals and 29 dispensaries, through which veterinary services have been improved and infectious diseases have been controlled.

Mobile veterinary units have also been started. Activities related to fisheries are being reorganized and expanded. The government has taken several new steps to promote Delhi as a cultural tourism destination. The Delhi Tourism Department has expanded its website and also launched the ‘Dekho Meri Dilli’ Mobile App, a one stop shop for all tourism related information in the city.

‘Delhi Film Policy-2022’ has been launched to brand Delhi’s national and international profile through films. Various programmes, fairs and festivals have been organized for the participation of common people. This includes ‘Har Haath Tiranga’, musical drama on the life of Babasaheb Ambedkar, Ganesh Chaturthi, Teej Festival etc.
