Bareilly news: A soldier has been arrested for the murder of his neighbor’s army personnel’s wife in Cantt police station area of Bareilly city of Uttar Pradesh. Additional Superintendent of Police (City) Rahul Bhati gave this information on Friday. He told that on March 13, a case was registered against an unknown person at the Cantt police station for killing Sudeshna (27), wife of Havildar Manoj Senapati, posted in the UV area signal, with a sharp weapon.
According to Additional Superintendent of Police Rahul Bhati, during the investigation, the police team examined the footage of CCTV cameras installed in the area and on the basis of that, signal man Nitish Pandey was arrested on Thursday with the help of army police. According to Rahul Bhati, Nitish Pandey told the police during interrogation that he had gone out of the city in October 2022, when his wife had an illicit relationship with Manoj Senapati, a soldier.
Fellow soldier was blackmailing the soldier
According to Rahul Bhati, Nitish Pandey told during interrogation that Manoj also had some objectionable pictures and videos of his wife, on the basis of which he was blackmailing her. According to Rahul Bhati, Nitish Pandey told the police that on March 13, he reached Manoj’s house on his scooty and asked his wife Sudeshna to call Manoj to delete his wife’s photos and videos, which made her furious. And started fighting.
Multiple stabs on body and neck
According to Rahul Bhati, Nitish Pandey said that after this he took out a knife from his bag and repeatedly attacked Sudeshna’s neck and several other parts of the body.
