District Social Welfare Officer GR Prajapati said that 6 police station-wise teams have been engaged in this campaign. There are more than 8 members from different departments. Beggars will get a place to live
Unclaimed and disabled beggars are being kept in self-help organization Apna Ghar Ashram, old mendicants in old age homes, temporarily rescued mendicants are being kept in shelter homes. Monks from other districts are being sent to their home districts. After identifying the beggars, data is being collected and they are being alerted. The police department has been entrusted with its responsibility. By patrolling continuously, the police is ensuring that no one is found sitting at any place for begging.
