    The complaint of electricity theft in the Shahi Idgah Mosque of Mathura was given by Dinesh Sharma, National Treasurer of the All India Hindu Mahasabha. When the team reached to investigate this complaint, the allegations were found to be true. After this, the department has registered a case against Tanveer Ahmed, the secretary of the mosque.

    Built on Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi in Uttar Pradesh Shahi Idgah Electricity theft has been confirmed. On the complaint of the National Treasurer of All India Hindu Mahasabha, the team of Electricity Corporation, which came to check, has caught this theft of Shahi Idgah Management Committee. The team seized the electric wire and other items found on the spot and registered a case in this regard in the city police station. In the Tahrir given to the police, the officials of the Electricity Corporation told that 4 kg load of electricity was being stolen in Shahi Idgah. Along with this, a fine of Rs 3 lakh has also been imposed on the committee.

    Significantly, Dinesh Sharma, National Treasurer of All India Hindu Mahasabha, wrote a letter to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath last month. In this letter, he has alleged that ever since the BJP government was formed in Uttar Pradesh, theft of electricity has started in Shahi Idgah. Earlier, in the government of Mayawati and Akhilesh Yadav, crackdown on electricity theft was tightened by Shahi Idgah Committee. Dinesh Sharma had also sent a copy of this letter to the District Magistrate, the Electricity Minister and the local officials of the Electricity Corporation. On the basis of this letter, the department got the matter investigated. It came to know that electricity is being lit in the Shahi Idgah by inserting a pole in the power line. After this, the Electricity Corporation has confiscated the electrical equipment, disconnecting the connection immediately. Along with this, the SDO of Mathura Masani has registered a case against Tanveer Ahmed, secretary of Shahi Idgah under the Electricity Theft and Prevention Act.

    Revealed in Vigilance raid

    There was a stir in the Electricity Corporation since the letter of Dinesh Sharma sent to the Chief Minister and the Electricity Minister. BK Yadav, in-charge of the Vigilance team of Electricity Corporation, along with heavy police force raided. Vikas Sharma, SDO of Masani power house and Deepak Prateek, our engineer, were also included in this raid. When the team reached the spot, they found a cut on the low tension electric line. At the same time, AC and other equipment were found running inside the mosque.

    Four kw was being stolen

    Vipin Kumar, the executive engineer of the Electricity Corporation, told that electricity was being stolen by putting Katia in the Shahi Idgah. On investigation by the team of the Electricity Department, it was caught stealing electricity. Along with this, a case has been registered against Tanveer Ahmed, the secretary of Shahi Idgah. He told that we have found a load of about 4 kg stolen in it. On the basis of this, a fine of about three lakh rupees has been imposed on the mosque management committee. He told that the Shahi Idgah Committee has deposited the fine amount on Saturday itself. Along with this, application for new connection has also been made. However, Tanveer Ahmed, secretary of the Shahi Idgah Committee, has not yet given any response regarding this action.
