Madhya Pradesh: You must have seen a lot of bells in the temple, but do you know that there is a temple where there is a pile of bells, it is known as the bell temple. This temple is located in Khargone of Madhya Pradesh. This is the temple of Moti Baba of Shivri Dham. More than 5000 small and big bells are stacked in the temple premises. Along with the big bell and four big bells. Their weight is not in kg but in quintals. There is no priest in this temple, there is no watchman, yet not a single bell was ever stolen from here.
Let us tell you that there is a temple of Shesh Avatar Nag Devta in the name of Devri Dham, 10 km from Bhikangaon, hundreds of devotees reach this temple on the Chaturdashi of Bhadrapada. They also circumambulate the caste tree on the sacred Peepal and Gullar in the temple premises. When the vow is fulfilled, devotees make pudding prasad and accept it and tie a bell. The special thing is that the devotees have to eat Halwa Prasadi here. He can’t take it with him. Devotees prepare pudding prasad with desi ghee along with poojan abhishek in the temple from morning.

Baba had come from Anjani Bamni village of Harda district. Elders tell that Sewri grass is in abundance at this place. It seems that is why Moti Baba is also called Sewri Dev.

The spire of the temple has also been constructed in a unique way, the branches of the sweeper tree emerge through the 61 feet high summit. Not a single tree has been cut for the construction of this summit. At the core of the tree is the statue of Moti Baba. Villagers said that people have deep faith in this place, the work of offering bells in the temple is also going on for years. The villagers also tell that people take cumin water in Kenya pots with them, no matter how far this water filled pot is to be carried, it is not kept on the ground, after handling it hangs it on a peg in the house of worship.
