Lakhimpur Road Accident: A terrible road accident happened in Lakhimpur, Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday morning. 8 people died in the road accident while more than 25 passengers were injured. All the injured have been taken to the nearest hospital. The condition of many of these people is said to be critical. After sending the people trapped in the vehicles to the hospital, the team of police and administration is starting the work of removing them from the road.
Collision of private bus and a truck
The accident occurred when a private bus going from Dhorhara to Lucknow and a truck collided head-on near Khamaria bridge of Isha Nagar police station. On receiving information about the accident, the police reached the spot and started investigation into the matter. Police said that in this accident all the injured in the bus have been evacuated to the hospital and the news of the death of 8 people has been reported. ADM Lakhimpur Sanjay Kumar said that many people have been seriously injured in this accident. He said that the accident happened due to a face-to-face collision.

Chief Minister expressed grief
CM Yogi Adityanath has expressed grief over the accident. On receiving the information about the accident, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed grief and encouraged the families of the deceased. Giving information about this, the CMO tweeted and wrote, “Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed deep sorrow over the loss of life in the road accident in Lakhimpur Kheri district. The District Magistrate and senior police officers have been directed to go to the spot and conduct relief work on a war footing and take the injured to the hospital immediately.
