The death of 3 women devotees has been confirmed in the same incident. On getting information about the incident, the police administration started relief work on the spot and those injured in the stampede have been admitted to the hospital. Due to the stampede in the monthly fair, it was difficult to control the crowd. At the same time people started pushing and shoving. In this chaos, 3 women devotees died.
Chief Minister expressed grief
It is being told that along with the death of 3 women, many devotees have been injured. Expressing grief over the death of the woman, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that the death of three visiting women due to stampede at Khatu Shyam ji’s temple in Sikar is very sad and unfortunate. My condolences are with the bereaved family. May God give them the strength to bear this loss and may the soul of the departed rest in peace.
