The competition is designed for students of classes 1 to 10 and the winners of this year’s Doodle or Google will see their artwork on the Google home page in India on November 14. A grand event was organized along with the Union Minister of Culture and Tourism G Kishan Reddy and in the presence of senior officials of Google and in the same event, the Union Minister Kishan Reddy officially launched the ‘India Ki Udaan’ digital collection.

In his address, Tourism Minister Kishan Reddy urged the Google team to make a special doodle on ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’. Which will encourage its employees and others to participate enthusiastically in the campaign. The Minister further said that Google can help the Ministry of Culture in digital mapping the boundaries of more than 3000 centrally protected monuments. Which will help in better monitoring of sites and check encroachment.
