Himachal Pradesh one in fatal road accident The news has come to the fore in which a woman and her 6 year old child died. Both died after being hit by a truck, while the woman’s husband is said to be injured and is undergoing treatment at Una’s hospital. The incident is being reported on Tuesday in which the woman and her child fell on the road due to sudden slip of the motorcycle while her husband fell on the other side. Meanwhile, a speeding truck coming from Bangana crushed the mother-son duo, due to which they died on the spot.
The incident is of Nanavin village of Bangana sub-division of Una district. The accident happened when the victims were returning after offering prayers at the Baba Balak Nath temple in Hamirpur. State Disaster Management Authority Director Sudesh Kumar Mokhta said that the woman has been identified as 33-year-old Swarna Kaur and her son Vanshpreet, residents of Bhabhor village of Rajpura in Patiala district of Punjab.

Case registered against truck driver
The woman’s husband Karnail Singh has been admitted to the Regional Hospital Una. A case of rash and negligent driving and causing death by negligence has been registered against the truck driver. In another accident in the district, four people suffered minor injuries after a Chandigarh Transport Undertaking (CTU) bus skidded and overturned at Panoh near Una town. The accident happened at around 9:30 in the morning.
There were eight people including the driver and conductor in the bus. The bus was going from Chandigarh to Una. The injured have been admitted to the regional hospital in Una, where their condition is said to be stable. Other passengers narrowly escaped. A police team has reached the spot to find out the cause of the accident.
