BJP leaders are claiming victory
Kotwal said, I am sure that my party (BJP) will win this seat. I have worked for this field for the last 15 years. My credibility and the initiative of the BJP government for the tribals will help us win this seat. Regarding the reason behind leaving the Congress, Kotwal said that it was impossible to work for the development of tribals by staying in the opposition camp. He said, if you are in the opposition party, it is difficult to bring development in the area. That’s why I have decided to join BJP for the development of tribals and I have people’s support.
Voting is to be held on December 5
In this assembly constituency, voting will be held on December 5 under the second phase. It is the only seat held by the Congress out of the four assembly constituencies in the district. Congress’s dominance
The Congress claims that in Khedbrahma, it is not the candidate, but the symbol that matters. It does not matter whether I am the candidate or someone else, Congress candidate Tushar Chowdhary told PTI. This is a Congress bastion and the voters here identify themselves with the symbol of our party.
The BJP has launched a campaign to project Chaudhary as an outsider, but by fielding Kotwal, the BJP is facing resentment from a section of its own party workers and local leaders. On the other hand, the entry of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is also expected to upset the Congress and the BJP. AAP has fielded local tribal leader Bipinchandra Gameti for this seat.
