The cost of marigold flower cultivation is Rs 30,000 per acre. These flowers are sold in the market for up to Rs.80 per kg. In such a situation, farmers can earn Rs 2 to 3 lakh from one acre. Similarly, farmers can earn well from rose cultivation. According to agricultural experts, farmers can earn up to Rs 5 to 7 lakh by cultivating roses in one hectare. Whereas, the expenditure will have to be done only one lakh rupees.
