Agra police said that on Sunday, information was received about the stay of foreign nationals in the slums near Awas Vikas Colony. On this information, the police conducted a special operation and searched every person living here. During this, the police detained 28 Bangladeshi citizens. In the interrogation of the police, these Bangladeshi people kept misleading at first. As proof of being an Indian citizen, he even presented his Aadhaar and PAN card in front of the police. But when the police got strict, they accepted that all of them have crossed the border and entered India and have been living here in Agra for a long time.
Identity card seized by the police
SP Agra City Vikas Kumar, who is leading the operation, told that 35 Aadhaar cards and PAN cards have been recovered from these Bangladeshi citizens. The police have seized all these documents. He told in police interrogation that a person named Khalid helped him cross the border. For this, the accused has taken 40 thousand rupees from each person to cross the border.
Police looking for Khalid
According to SP Vikas Kumar, now the police is looking for Khalid. Meanwhile, the Mathura Police has also arrested 40 Rohingya and Bangladeshi citizens by raiding Nai Basti Colony. On the information of the Local Intelligence Unit, the police arrested all of them. In questioning them too, it has come to know that they too have crossed the border illegally and come to India. Mohammad Kamrul, one of the arrested Bangladeshi nationals, told that a person not only helped him cross the border, but also helped him to get Aadhaar and PAN card in India. Kamrul told that now he was trying to bring his wife here from Bangladesh.
