Meeting regarding farmers' movement.
At present, no solution was found in the Chandigarh meeting of Union Ministers and leaders of farmers' organizations held after the mediation of Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann. The farmers said that before February 12, the government should consider the demands made by us and give us a reply. He said that the strategy of the Delhi march and farmers' movement starting from 13th February will remain the same and the farmers are already preparing to march towards Delhi on 13th February and will do so even now. The central government will have to respond before 13 February, otherwise a march to Delhi will be carried out at any cost.
CM Bhagwant Mann said after the meeting that a meeting was held with farmer leaders regarding the demands of farmer organizations related to the central government. Three ministers from the central government attended this meeting. There was a long and detailed discussion. Many views were put forward from both sides. The promises that were made to the farmer organizations during the farmer movement. An attempt was made to reach a consensus on them.
He said that consensus has been reached on two issues. Two demands have been agreed upon, such as withdrawal of cases registered against farmers in railway and police stations in different states during the farmers' movement and provision of strict punishment against companies manufacturing fake seeds and fake pesticides.

Meeting held on farmers' movement
CM said that on behalf of the Punjab Government, I thank the farmers' organizations and the ministers of the Central Government. The CM said that neither we nor the farmers want them to fight like this to get their demands met and come on the streets with tractors and face batons, tear gas shells and any loss. This conversation had to be held with the farmers' committee in future too, so we called that committee in advance.
He said that it has been decided that the series of meetings will continue in the future and whatever other organizations are associated with this farmers movement. Further discussions will be held by these farmer leaders. The central government has promised the farmer organizations to talk to their other farmer organizations. If they have any other demands or other cases or issues. Those will also be discussed further.
CM said that I have presented the side of the farmers and in future too, if I have to resolve this issue by holding a meeting with the farmers, I will mediate. The demand for MSC is a big demand and at that time during the farmers' movement, the central government had agreed to it, but a policy will have to be made for it and the central ministers have said that they will go and talk to the central government about it.
The matter should be resolved by talking to the Center before the strike.
He said that I believe that instead of holding talks with the Central Government even after staging a protest, it would be better if the farmers resolve this issue by talking to the Central Government even before staging a sit-in.
CM said that we have also raised the issue of cases being registered against farmers for burning stubble and on behalf of the farmers we have said that if instead of planting paddy, the central government promotes the crop of pulses, then the water of Punjab and other states will be reduced. Will also be saved and farmers will also benefit, but SSP of such crops will have to be decided.
The farmers have just told the Union Ministers and Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann that the scope of the organizations associated with the farmers' movement on February 13 is very large and the talks that took place with the Central Government. They will share it with other organizations and only then the further strategy will be decided.
